SUCCESS STORY

First a good feeling, later even better performance

The list of requirements of our customer Salzer Formtech from Austria for this project was long and the sales team as well as the project management of Erlenbach were therefore even more motivated to meet all points of this list with a special system.

The realization

This system is characterized by the following outstanding points:

  • existing third-party tools can be used without an additional adapter
  • a spindle lift system adapts the machine to deeper tools by up to 500mm
  • thus, the machine always has a maximum stroke of 1500mm at its disposal, no matter how deep the tooling system is
  • despite the stroke variation, the machine impresses with its compact design
  • the EMMotion Vario can be easily extended by individual up- & downstream automations.
  • an optional freely programmable control system for individual process control rounds off the concept

About SALZER FORMTECH

The SALZER GROUP is a medium-sized, family-run group of companies operating in the fields of paper, molded parts and service in St. Pölten in Austria. SALZER FORMTECH specializes in the production of individual molded parts made of EPS, EPP and copolymers. SALZER FORMTECH and Erlenbach have had a successful business relationship for around 40 years.

We would like to thank the Salzer Formtech team for the successful cooperation in this project and are already looking forward to the next challenge.

The birth of the EMMotion Vario

The idea was born and Erlenbach was able to convince as a partner for this project.
Now it was time to implement the concept quickly, flexibly and in the usual high quality.
No sooner said than done... The EMMotion Vario concept was turned into an efficient plant in Lautert. After completion and a successful test run with all parties involved, the machine could be put into operation in Austria shortly afterwards.
The quality requirements for the finished parts could be met as well as a cycle time reduction of more than 5% compared to the replaced machine.
