Old Hydraulic out - put the new EMMotion in

The exchange of 2 hydraulic molding machines at ISL could not have been more successful. The employees praise the control as operator friendly and the expectations at cycle times have been exceeded.

ABOUT ISL

ISL Schaumstoff-Technik GmbH from Viernheim, Germany with its approx. 200 employees designs and produces EPP packagings and technical moulding parts in all conceivable areas, such as heating-, cooling- and air conditioning technology, in sports industry, in furniture sector as well as crash elements for automotive applications.

THE RESULT

“Our expectations have been exceeded at the cycle times. We achieved a cycle times saving of 30 seconds at one serial part.“ Mr Helbig underlined. Routinejobs such as maintenance can be done without problems, thanks to the clear built up of the moulding machines.

THE CO-OPERATION

Both electrically driven moulding machines EMMotion met all expactations, that have been placed in advance to the replacement of the hydraulic units. The oil-free unit scores with its easy maintenance and fast and very even movements. Mr. Helbig, production manager in sector foaming, says: “The timeliness from projecting until commissioning of both units was perfect.”
